Identifying Organizational Factors to Support Equity-Oriented Care for People who are Highly Marginalized
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors and ‘prerequisites’ needed within cancer care organizations to support an equity-oriented approach to care.

The specific objectives of the study were to
- Identify organizational level barriers to accessing cancer care among people experiencing significant health and social inequities.
- Explore organizational factors influencing capacity for equity-oriented care within cancer care.
- Apply research findings to co-develop a set of actionable, evidence-informed recommendations to enhance capacity for equity-oriented cancer care
